Out Front Tours LLC ("Out Front Tours," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of our travelers and website visitors. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website, book a trip with us, or otherwise interact with our services.
By using our website or booking a trip with Out Front Tours, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Personal Information. We may collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, billing information, and travel document details (such as passport information) when you book a trip, join our email list, or otherwise interact with us. Some of this information may be collected by us directly, and some may be collected through third-party booking and payment platforms we use to operate our trips, including but not limited to, WeTravel and Stripe.
Usage Data. We may also collect non-personal information about how you interact with our website, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and other analytics data collected through standard website tools.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies. Like most websites, we use cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to operate our site and understand how visitors use it. This may include analytics tools (such as Squarespace Analytics) and advertising pixels (such as Meta or TikTok) used to measure the performance of our marketing and better tailor the content and ads you see. Most browsers let you control or block cookies through your browser settings; please note that blocking cookies may affect certain site features and won't necessarily prevent all data sharing with third parties such as our advertising partners.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Process bookings and payments for our trips
Communicate with you about your trip, including itinerary details, updates, and logistics
Share necessary travel information with our trip leaders, local guides, and ground operators in order to deliver your trip
Send marketing communications, such as newsletters and trip announcements, where you've opted in
Improve our website and overall traveler experience
Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly.
3. How We Disclose Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
Third-party service providers who help us operate our business, such as payment processors (Stripe), booking platforms (WeTravel), and our ground operators, local guides, and accommodation/activity vendors, solely for the purpose of fulfilling your trip
Legal authorities, when required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Out Front Tours LLC, our travelers, or others
A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information — including travel document and passport details — for any purpose beyond what is necessary to fulfill your trip, and we do not use it to infer any other characteristics about you.
Because our trips operate internationally, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of your country of residence, including the destination countries of your trip. Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we rely on recognized legal transfer mechanisms, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent mechanism recognized by the UK, unless the destination country has been deemed to provide an adequate level of protection. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected wherever it's processed.
4. Third-Party Websites and Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including vendor, tourism board, or partner sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.
5. Data Security and Retention
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, including any applicable legal, tax, or accounting requirements. Travel document information is retained only as long as needed to complete your trip and associated requirements, after which it is securely deleted.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Wherever you're joining us from, you have the right to:
Know what personal information we hold about you
Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information
Object to or restrict certain uses of your information
Request a copy of your information in a portable format
Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time
If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, these rights are provided to you under the GDPR and UK GDPR. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know whether your information is sold or disclosed (we do not sell personal information), the right to opt out of the "sharing" of information for targeted advertising, and the right to equal service regardless of whether you exercise your privacy rights. If you visit our site with a Global Privacy Control signal enabled, we will treat this as a request to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your information for that browser and device, where applicable.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@outfronttours.com. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe, and may need to verify your identity before doing so.
