Before you book

  • Out Front Tours trips are designed for sapphic travelers — lesbians, bisexual, pansexual, and queer women, as well as non-binary, genderfluid, and trans folks who identify with the sapphic community.

    Whether you're joining solo, bringing a partner, or with your bestie, you're welcome here! Our trips are open to sapphic travelers worldwide, with one simple requirement: you must be at least 18 years old at the time of travel.

  • Yes! These tours are available for sapphic travelers worldwide. Please note, all tours are in English.

  • Yes! Once your deposit is in and your spot is officially secured, we've got you covered with monthly payment plans to help make your travel dreams a reality. ✨

    Final payment is due 60–90 days before departure (the exact timing depends on the trip)!

  • Flights aren't included in your trip package and that's intentional. We want you to have the freedom to fly from wherever you are, on your own timeline, with the airline and fare that works best for you. Our job is to take care of everything once you arrive.

  • We're happy to offer guidance, but we don't book flights on your behalf.

    Once you're registered for a trip, we'll share recommended arrival/departure windows, the closest airport, and any group arrival details so you can plan around them. If you have questions about timing, airlines, layovers, or anything else flight-related, just ask! We're glad to help you think it through.

  • Our tours are meant for folks 18+! We don't have an upper age limit and that's by design. Our travelers span every stage of life, though most fall between their mid-20s to mid-40s, with plenty of folks in their 50s and 60s joining in too!

    And we love the mix! There's something special about a group where you can learn from someone a decade (or three) ahead of or behind you. The more diverse the age range, the more well-rounded the trip.

  • Yes! Out Front Tours is designed with neurodivergent travelers in mind.

    We know group travel can bring extra sensory, social, or planning considerations, so we build in flexibility wherever we can. Detailed itineraries shared in advance so you know what to expect, downtime built into each day, and no pressure to participate in every group activity. Everything is optional and alone time is encouraged for anyone who needs to take a step back and take a break.

    If you have specific needs around sensory environments, communication style, or pacing, just let us know when you book! We're happy to talk through what would help before the trip even starts. Our goal is for every traveler to feel comfortable being exactly who they are.

  • Every itinerary accommodates vegetarians. Beyond that, our ability to accommodate specific allergies and dietary needs (gluten-free, celiac, dairy-free, etc.) varies by destination.

    Some regions are easier to navigate than others depending on local cuisine and availability. We do our best to accommodate most restrictions, but please reach out to hello@outfronttours.com if you have specific dietary needs. We'll let you know exactly what to expect for that itinerary so you can travel with peace of mind.

  • All of the above! While about 90% of our travelers book solo and ready to meet new people, couples and friends are always welcome too.

    That said, these trips aren't designed as a honeymoon-style getaway or a private friend retreat. The whole experience is built around group cohesion and community, so if you're coming with a partner or a friend, just come ready to mingle, meet everyone, and be part of the group!

  • Your package covers the foundation: accommodation, ground transportation, guided tours and activities, select meals, a sapphic trip leader, a photographer (unless otherwise noted) and a local on-the-ground guide.

    Every trip page includes a full breakdown of what's included so there are no surprises, so be sure to check each itinerary specifically for what that one entails.

  • A sold out “Out Front Tours” will have a maximum of 16 travelers. We pride ourselves on having smaller groups to allow for true connection with everyone on your trip.

after you book

  • Congratulations! You’ve booked your trip and now you’re waiting for the fun to happen. Here’s the general timeline of what to expect:

    Immediately: you’ll receive a confirmation email from our team welcoming you to the trip! This email will include pertinent details, dates, destination information, and a welcome packet with a timeline of what to expect for the upcoming months before departure.

    60-90 days out: Final payments are due. Please refer to your welcome email with the exact dates and timeline for final payments being due.

    75 days out: You’ll be added to a group chat with your fellow travelers! Get to know everyone, your trip leader, ask questions, and get excited for your adventure.

    45 days out: Your trip leader will set up a date and time for your pre-departure call. Meet your crew and get ready for travel!

  • Yes - travel insurance is mandatory for Out Front Tours.

    Travel insurance is one of those things you’ll be very glad to have if you ever need it - and it’s an important part of getting ready for your trip. It keeps you protected, and it gives the people who care about you some extra reassurance while you’re off having an amazing time.

    We do require everyone to show proof of insurance at the start of the tour. All we need to check is your name, the region you’re covered for, and the dates your policy is valid.

    Just make sure your plan includes the activities you want to do! Especially if you’re on a tour that has snorkelling, scuba diving, and other water-based adventures. It’s worth organising your insurance early so you’re fully covered from the moment you book.

  • Potentially! Visa requirements can vary depending on where we're headed and what passport you're holding. Once you've booked your spot, we recommend double-checking the entry requirements for your nationality on your country's government website — just to make sure you're all set for departure day! ✈️

  • Our cancellation policy depends on how your trip is structured:

    For OFT-designed trips (trips where Out Front Tours is directly collecting payments and managing logistics), our cancellation timeline reflects when we're required to pay our vendors (hotels, guides, activity operators, and more) to lock in your group's pricing and availability. Once those payments go out, that funding is no longer recoverable on our end, which shapes the structure below:

    • More than 91 days before departure: A $150 administrative fee applies, with the remainder of your deposit issued as a 1-year travel voucher. Any additional payment beyond your deposit will be refunded.

    • 75–90 days before departure: Your deposit in its entirety is non-refundable, but any installment payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded.

    • Less than 75 days before departure: All trip costs are non-refundable, as this is typically when final vendor payments are due.

    For collaboration trips (trips where a partner organization is collecting payments and managing the booking), the cancellation policy is set by that organization rather than Out Front Tours. These terms will be clearly outlined on the trip's information page, in your welcome packet, and/or in the booking rules for that specific trip — please refer to those materials for the accurate policy.

    Because of this, we strongly encourage every traveler to purchase Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) travel insurance at the time of booking, so you're protected if your plans change, regardless of which trip type you've booked.   • We know you’re excited to meet your fellow travellers, and trust us, the group chats are always buzzing! We usually create the WhatsApp group ~60 days before the tour. This is for everyone’s safety, as we can only add guests once final balances have been paid.

    In the meantime, if you have any questions at all or just want to chat about the trip, feel free to reach out anytime. We’re always here to help!

  • Yes! At Out Front Tours, we know that meeting new people can be daunting. Showing up on day 1 can be nerve wracking, so we minimize this by setting up at WhatsApp Group and pre-departure call for everyone to meet prior to the trip beginning.

    Your Trip Leader will organize a date and time for everyone to meet, ask questions, and get to know one another approximately 45 days before departure.

  • Absolutely! In fact, we highly recommend arriving a day or two early. It gives you time to recharge, settle in, and enjoy some “me time” before the tour kicks off. We promise the tour feels even better when you’re not battling jet lag on Day 1.

    If you’d like to extend your stay either before or after the trip at the same hotels, we can help assist you.

  • Once your final balance is paid, we’ll send you a full, detailed packing list to help you get completely prepared for your tour!

    It’s totally up to you whether you bring a suitcase or a backpack, whatever you’re most comfortable with.
