At Out Front Tours, our mission is to make being OUT and proud as a sapphic woman, non-binary, or trans traveler at the foreFRONT of our tours.

Every trip is designed around the same idea: that travel is better when you don't have to explain yourself, shrink yourself, or wonder if you're the only one. We build itineraries around real connection, with community at the foundation of our tours.

Why the name “Out Front Tours”?

The name is discrete by design, not by apology. Part of our mission is bringing travelers safely into parts of the world that aren't always the most LGBTQ-friendly places. Sometimes, having a name covered in rainbows or the “LGBTQ+” front and center could create real risk before a group even lands. "Out Front Tours" is a quiet nod that says you're seen, without putting a target on anyone's back.

Our mission

The queer travel market isn't niche. It's massive, and it's only getting bigger — global spending by queer travelers is on track to reach $568.5 billion by 2030, up from roughly $218 billion before the pandemic, according to Globetrender's Future of Queer Travel research.

But "LGBTQ+ travel" and "marketing to the sapphic community" have never been the same thing. Industry research consistently shows that gay and bisexual men dominate the data, the dollars, and the destination guides. One IGLTA-affiliated industry survey of LGBTQ+ travel buyers found gay and bisexual men made up 73% of the customer base represented, compared to just 24% for lesbian and bisexual women and 3% for transgender, non-binary, and genderfluid travelers.

Community Marketing & Insights, which has surveyed the LGBTQ+ travel market for over a decade, has presented findings at IGLTA's Global Convention showing that sapphic women are among the segments most likely to say travel brands simply aren't reaching them… even though they're just as ready to spend with the companies that do.

That's the gap Out Front Tours hopes to close.
