MEET the PHOTOGRAPHERS
Every Out Front Tour (unless otherwise noted) includes a dedicated photographer.
Our photographers are part of the sapphic community themselves, so they're not just documenting the trip, they're living it alongside you. They're there to not only document the trip for your group, but to offer you the chance to fully un-plug from your phone if you so wish!
Representation matters behind the camera too, not just in front of it. For every trip, we start by putting out the call for a photographer based in the region we're traveling to. We want local eyes telling the story of their own home, or from the region they have heritage from. When that's not possible, our next priority is hiring BIPOC photographers.
DEI isn't a line item for us, it's part of how we build every piece of this experience, including who's holding the camera.

Photography FAQ’s
-
Coverage looks a little different from trip to trip. Some tours have a dedicated tour leader who is also our photographer, capturing the experience while guiding the group. Others have a separate tour guide and photographer working alongside each other. Which setup a trip has depends on location, availability, and who we're able to bring on for that particular departure — and you'll know exactly what to expect for your trip at the time of booking.
-
Within a month of your trip ending, you'll receive a private, password-protected gallery link with your full set of photos from the trip. That gallery stays live and accessible for one year from your trip's end date, so you'll have plenty of time to download, share, and revisit your favorites.
-
That’s perfectly ok! Just let your photographer know you don’t want any photographs taken of you, and they will be sure to honor that request.
-
Yes, of course! If there's a specific photo of you that's been posted and you'd rather it come down, just reach out to our team and let us know which one and we'll take care of it.
-
Every gallery is different, but on average, travelers receive around 500 photos from their tour. Some photographers capture even more, depending on their bandwidth and personal shooting style, but you can expect a full, well-rounded set of images from across your trip either way!
-
Unless you let our team know otherwise, joining an Out Front Tour means agreeing to be featured in photos on our website and social media — it's part of what helps us share this community with the world.
However, we completely understand that some people aren’t out to friends and family, or they simply don’t want their photos online! If you'd rather opt out, you'll have the option to do so directly through a photography release toggle at the time of booking, so we know your preference from the start.
-
The whole trip! They’re experiencing the tour alongside you.
-
You’ll receive a curated gallery of edited photos!
-
Photography is included in your trip price at no extra cost and no add-on fees. It's simply part of the Out Front Tours experience!
